Why clean your carpets
Your carpet is a filter. Eventually it gets full.
Health
Carpet traps pollen, bacteria, insecticides, asphalt and other contaminants, and most of them are not removed by vacuuming. A Swiss study found that public buildings that removed their carpet saw an increase in illness, because the filter was gone and contaminants circulated freely.
Our advice: mop hard surfaces often, vacuum carpet regularly, and schedule professional cleaning before soil becomes visible.
Visible soil
Gritty soil bonds to fibers and abrades them like sandpaper every time you walk across the room. By the time a traffic lane is visible, some of that damage is permanent. Cleaning early removes the grit before it wears the carpet down.
Odors
Pet, cooking and other odors work their way into carpet, rugs, fabric and floors. Newer techniques and products can address problems that were once considered permanent. An evaluation from us will tell you whether cleaning will solve it.
Problem solving
What looks like a manufacturing defect can often be corrected by professional cleaning. Most manufacturers require service by a certified cleaning firm before they will send out a representative.
Selling your home
Floor coverings are one of the first things buyers notice, especially in a vacant home. Clean carpet, tile and grout go a long way toward a successful sale.
Maintenance
Proper care of carpet, upholstery and rugs dramatically extends their life and gives you many more years of use.
